Several Michigan No. 1's Recorded At Spartan Classic Invite

Ericka Vanderlende and Cole Johnson posted MI No. 1 times at the Spartan Classic Invite.

Five Michigan No. 1 results were recorded at the Spartan Classic Track and Field Invite, which took place this past weekend on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing.

Rockford's Ericka Vanderlende ran a Michigan No. 1 / US No. 6 time of 10:15.75 on route to her emphatic win in the 3200m race.  Vanderlende finished thirty-four seconds ahead of the race's runner-up.  With this effort, the junior established a new pr as well as a new Rockford school record.  Her latest showing complements the Michigan No. 2 / US No. 15 time of 4:50.58 that she achieved in the 1600m event at last week's Rockford At Grand Haven dual-meet.
