Morgan Jankowski guided Berea-Midpark to a team victory at the inaugural Tommy Evans High School Invitational in Norton.
The meet, which has conducted college races for many years, was hosted by the University of Akron and took place at Silver Creek Metro Park.
Similar to athletes from throughout the state, Jankowski battled unfavorable running conditions on Saturday; she posted a winning time of 20:25.62 for what was the first individual win of her high school career. She was joined in the top five by teammates, Megan Thai (2nd place), Shura Ermakov (4th place) and Sam Agresta (5th place). The Titans recorded 20 points.
