Taryn Chapko recorded a time of 18:57.00 to secure the Varsity Division race win at the CAAC Red Jamboree #2 meet earlier this month in Mason.
In addition to the individual triumph, Chapko led her St. Johns squad to the team title - they collected 22 points.
The junior class athlete has had an impressive season to date; she's earned five victories and recently established a new 5K pr of 18:11.20 at the Apples To Apples Invitational.
