Sophomore speedster Vushaun Landrum (Windsor, ON/Sandwich Secondary) continued his winning ways Saturday, taking top honors in the 100 meter dash at the EMU Twilight track and field meet in Ypsilanti, MI, while junior Lesley Hanna (Exuma, Bahamas/Coakley) sprinted his way to fourth-place finishes in the 200 and 400 meters.

Landrum, who won four events on Thursday at the UDM-OU Dual meet, clocked a time of 10.86 seconds in the sprint, just shy of his second-fastest time of the season by .01 seconds.

Hanna earned his initial fourth-place finish of the day in the 400 meters, in a time of 49.07, and came back to run a 22.30 in the 200 meters. He was joined in the 400 meter dash by senior Titan Deonte Osayande (Detroit, MI/Winans), who recorded an eighth-place finish while running a personal best of 51.16 seconds.

Senior Samuel Jones (Detroit, MI/UD Jesuit) ran in the 100 meter dash as well, crossing the line ninth in a time of 11.56.

Junior Earnest Cleary (Detroit, MI/Ferndale), Jones, Landrum and Osayande teamed up in the 4x100 meter relay where the foursome made it around the oval in 43.04 seconds to take over the No. 9 spot in the UDM record book.

No team scores were kept at the meet.

Next on tap for the Titans are the Penn and Hillsdale Relays. Detroit will be represented in Philadelphia, PA, by a handful of athletes at the prestigious Penn Relays on Thursday and Friday, April 22-23, while the rest of the squad will compete in Hillsdale, MI, Friday and Saturday.
