Final Results

GUELPH, Ont. – The women's cross country team competed in the 2011 New Balance Vic Matthews Open this weekend.  There was no team scoring at the event.
 
Katrina Oberski paced Detroit with a 48^th place finish.  She crossed the finish line at 19:44.  Kirstin Mooney was the next Titan to finish.  Mooney clocked in at 19:58 landing her in 55^th place.
 
Freshman Zeinab Baydoun ran well for Detroit.  Baydoun placed 59^th overall with a time of 20:01.  Olivia Smid placed 67^th overall.  Smid ran the 5k course in 20:14.
 
Sarah Martinez and Torrie Eger were the next Titans to cross the finish line.  Martinez placed 100^th overall with a time of 21:10.  Eger finished under the 22 minute mark (21:54) putting her in 119^th place.
 
Sara Taylor and Katie Weishaar rounded out the effort for Detroit.  Taylor placed 126^th (22:14) and Weishaar took 139^th (22:55).
