My name is Rob Scott and I am an active duty Coast Guard officer recently stationed in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. My son is an up and coming Middle School Distance/Middle Distance runner who's passion for running is completely infectious. His effort and discipline to his running has inspired me to pursue the webmaster position for Michigan MileSplit. I have always been athletic, playing soccer, tennis and volleyball throughout my college/adult years. So, I am drawn to kids with the drive and discipline to pursue their dreams. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the kids that I have come into contact with at meets and on my son's team and hope that I can help promote the sport and its comradery through posting of results, article writing, conducting interviews and finding photos that showcase the kids' talents.
