Sprints & Hurdles 

Matthew Moorer and James Flournoy posted impressive results in the 200m and 400m events.  Ypsilanti Lincoln's Moorer claimed sixth place in the 200m championship race with his time of 21.81 and he took ninth in the 400m prelims with his 48.45 effort.  Flournoy finished seventh in the 200m finals and tenth in the 400m prelims with times of 22.21 and 48.66, respectively.

Donnie James represented himself admirably in the deep 400m championship finals field, as the senior from Oak Park placed fifth due to his 48.01 clocking.  In the 60m hurdles event, East Kentwood's Job Mayhue went 7.88 for seventh place.

In action taking place in the Emerging Elite Division, Caden Smith of Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central finished ninth in the 60m with his 7.08 result.
