Jera Salters earned the turbo-javelin victory in the 11 year-old division at the AAU Junior Olympic Games with a throw of 100-7.75.
The West-Akron Track Club representative, who competes in a variety of track and field events, completed the rarely achieved three-peat last week in Greensboro. Salters also won the turbo-javelin at the 2017 and 2018 JO's with tosses of 65-9 as a 9 year-old and 71-2 as a 10 year-old.
