We're doubling-down on Comet Relays memories this week ~ yesterday our 'Throwback' post featured top boys performers from last year's meet, so today it's the girls turn.
The annual meet hosted by Amherst Steele was slated for April 25th and while this year's edition won't go down, expect the 2021 offering to be bigger and better than ever.
Review below big time performances put forth at the 2019 installment by Taylor Hooks, Olivia Howell and Shura Ermakov.
Hooks, capitalizing on home track advantage, pocketed the 100 dash victory in 12:44, while many-time state champion, Howell went 4:57.32 for the 1600 triumph. In 300 hurdles action, it was Berea-Midpark's Ermakov who crossed the line first in a time of 46 seconds flat.
