*Kaila Jackson ran a 7.26 in the 60m to tie the Michigan indoor state record and move up to No. 9 on the all-time list

The indoor season is just kicking off and Kaila Jackson is already on the roll.
The Georgia Bulldog signee and the AAU Junior Olympic 100m and 200m champion, blasted to a 7.26 at the CYUP Cabin Fever Invite. Lyric Steele finished second in 7.61 while Olivia Jenkins clocked a 7.66 for third respectively.
The Detroit Renaissance's (MI) senior moved up to tie at No. 9 on the all-time list with Dezerea Bryant, Mikiah Brisco, Jenaba Tarmoh, Angelina Williams, and Shayla Mahan.
Jackson tied with Mahan for the Michigan indoor state record which she set back in February of 2007.
Entering this meet, Jackson ran a season's best of 7.41 at the MITS - Lab #3 at the end of December.
