Women's Track & Field Schedule

Hosting the 2010 Horizon League Indoor Championships, the Fifth Annual Dual against Oakland and a trip to the historic Penn Relays highlight the Detroit Titans men's and women's track and field slate for 2010.

The Titans, who recently hosted the HL Cross Country Championships, will again do the honors for the indoor league meet, held at the U-M Indoor Track and Field Building from Feb. 27-28.

The outdoor season will see UDM host in-state rival Oakland for the fifth straight year, the third here on campus, on April 15. The meet will begin at 4 p.m., at Titan Field.

UDM will also have an opportunity to compete in the Penn Relays, the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States. The event was started in 1895 and will be held from April 22-23 at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.

Detroit begins the indoor season with a pair of meets before Christmas break as the Titans compete in the Blue & Gold Invitational at Notre Dame on Friday, Dec. 4, and at the Grand Valley State Holiday Open on Friday, Dec. 18.
