Men's and Women's T&F Ready for Silverston Invite

The Eagles will head eight miles west to U-M for final meet before MAC Championship

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com)--The Eagles will head down the road to Ann Arbor for the second time this season as both the men and women are set to compete in the Silverston Invitational, Saturday, Feb. 20, hosted by the University of Michigan. In the first U-M showdown this season, the women of Eastern had nine top-three finishes, including a first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay and a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash by ReJeana Marigna (Beverly, N.J.-Burlington).

For the men, Clint Allen (Muskegon, Mich.-Orchard View) posted a season-best time of 6.70 seconds, good for an NCAA Provisional Qualifier mark. At the time, the mark tied as the eighth-fastest in the nation this year.
