Gould's Run On Video

Senior Alex Gould (Comstock Park, MI/Comstock Park) moved his way up the UDM record list at Saturday's Alex Wilson Invitational at the University of Notre Dame, becoming the third-fastest Titan miler of all-time after running a 4:11.85.

 

Only former Titan Corey Stedman and teammate Pat Liderbach (Petoskey, MI/Petoskey) sit ahead of Gould on the Detroit list, as Gould's personal best now puts him over one second ahead of head coach Guy Murray.

 

Gould's previous best was a 4:14.02 set at the Grand Valley State Open earlier in the indoor season. He showed improvement throughout the year, improving his PR each time he competed, with the exception of a tactical race at last weekend's Horizon League indoor championships, where Gould finished fourth in the 800 meter run.
