STANFORD, Calif. (EMUEagles.com)—The final day of the Stanford Invitational wrapped up today, March 27, in Stanford Calif.
Freshman runner Courtney Calka (Livonia, Mich.-Stevenson), one day after finishing ninth in her heat of the 1,500-meter run, posted a time of 2:16.85, good for 51st place in the large field of runners. Her finish was the 13th fastest time of all freshman runners.
Calka was the only Eagle to compete on day two. Her teammate Rachel Hollinger-Janzen (Goshen, Ind.-Goshen) competed yesterday, March 26, in the 10,000-meter run, crossing the finish line in 36:39.31.
The Eagles return to action Saturday, April 3, for a Mid-American Conference triangular meet with Central Michigan and Western Michigan.
