Complete two-day results

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Lauren Quaintance was the unsung hero for the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team this weekend as the junior middle distance runner posted two huge wins for the Eagles during the two-day EMU Invitational, April 16-17, at Olds/Marshall Track inside of Rynearson Stadium.

On day one, Quaintance edged out teammate Courtney Calka to earn a victory in the 1,500-meter run, while today she managed to again sprinted past another teammate, this time Christina Farrow, to earn a 2:15.26 time and a first place finish in the 800-meter run.

The Eagles also picked up wins in the long jump, as Margaret White leapt 18-05.50, the 400-meter hurdles, as Asia Rawls sprinted to a 1:01.27 finish, and in the 4x100-meter relay, as the foursome of White, Ashlee Abraham, ReJeana Marigna and Naomi Andre posted the best time of all their competitors.

The Eagles have a busy weekend ahead as the team sends runners to the Drake Relays in Des Moine, Iowa and the Hillsdale Relays in Hillsdale, Mich.
