PHILADELPHIA, Pa./HILLSDALE, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team left the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. with two trophies in hand, as the squad won their respective heats of the 4x200-meter relay and the sprint medley relay.
The Eagles were one of the 62 teams in the 4x200 field and finished first in one of seven heats, posting a time of 1:36.22, 13th overall. Eastern also won their sprint medley relay heat in a time of 3:57.69, 7th overall out of nearly 40 teams.
At Hillsdale, the final day was highlighted by a 2nd-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles by Brittany Lockhart.
