2010 Cross Country Schedule

A home meet, a trip to a Big Ten race and four total events in the state of Michigan highlights the 2010 men's and women's cross country schedule.

Detroit will open the season with a short trek to Oakland University to take part in the Golden Grizzly Open on Saturday, Sept. 4. That race will be the first of three that UDM will run at Oakland as Detroit visits Rochester Hills for the Michigan Intercollegiate on Oct. 8 and again for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 13.

The 24th Annual Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational will be the lone Titan hosted event on the year as the race returns to Cass Benton Park in Northville on the morning of Sept. 11. More information on the race will be released in the near future.

Detroit will also keep the tradition of running in the National Catholic Championship at Notre Dame. This year's race will go off on Friday, Sept. 17 at the Notre Dame Golf Course. The Titans will make two more out of state journeys in October as they head to Kentucky for the Greater Louisville Classic on the 2nd as well as a trip to Pennsylvania for the Penn State National on the 16th.

The Horizon League Cross Country Championships, hosted by Loyola at Montrose Beach in Chicago, is scheduled for Oct. 30, while the NCAA Division I championships will be in Terre Haute, IN on Nov. 22.
