INDIANAPOLIS -- The second day of competition ended at the Horizon League Championships on Saturday and a number of Titans will be vying for a title after qualifying on the day.
The event is being hosted by Butler at the Mike Carroll Track at IUPUI.
Freshman
Brandee Hart qualified in the 200-meters and the 100-meter hurdles. She was sixth in the 200 in 25.73 and then hit a personal record with a 15.01 in the 100Mh, the third best mark in school history, while securing the eighth and final spot in the championship.
Freshman
Nicole Meisner nailed a PR and moved onto the finals in the 200m with a run of 25.58. Senior
Sequoyia Calhoun and sophomore
Whitney Rogers made it in the 400m as Calhoun posted the best time of the day with a 57.46 winning her heat, while Rogers claimed eighth with a time of 61.70.
The 400-meter hurdles saw sophomore
Olivia Smid take fifth in the qualifier in 65.61, while senior
Katie Taylor was right behind her in sixth at 67.87.
Sophomore
Katrina Oberski came close to scoring in the steeplechase taking ninth in 12:07.21, which set a new career mark.
In the throws, freshman
Allyson Koglin stood out claiming 11th in the hammer(39.43m/129-04) and 16th in the javelin (23.71m/77-09).
The final day of competition will on Sunday as the Horizon League will crown several individual champions and the team championship.
