GLIAC Indoor Championships 2011

The #1 Grand Valley State women's track and field team is in first place with 72 points after day one of the 2010 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday (Feb. 25) night. GVSU has a 17 point lead after five events scored, while Ashland is in second with 55 points and Northern Michigan in third (17). The second and final day will begin Saturday at University Center, Mich., at 11:00 a.m. with the start of field events, followed by the running events at noon.

GVSU has a six point lead over second place Ashland, while Findlay and Tiffin are tied for third (16) and Northwood in fifth (13). The second and final day will begin Saturday at University Center, Mich., at 11:00 a.m. with the start of field events, followed by the running events at noon.
