One of the best battles will take place in the girls 1600m, where three girls ranked within the US #10 in the event go head-to-head. Midland Dow freshman Anna Jensen (4:56.69) looks to be the favorite, though Battle Creek Lakeview senior Maggie Farrell (4:57.74) has a plan up her sleeve, and Ann Arbor Pioneer junior Anne Forsyth (4:55.18) is right in the mix as a viable contender -- if not the sleeper to win it. Earlier in the indoor season, Jensen grabbed an elite mile win from both runners in a heavily strategic race.
