Purple Track Club Take Top 4 Spots In 1600 At Kent State

The distance team from the Purple Track Club made their way to Ohio this past weekend to contest the 1600 at the Kent State University High School Series Meet No. 3.

The Ann Arbor-based squad occupied the top 4 spots in the final standings, led by Rachel Forsyth, the race winner in 4:45.80. She was followed by Sarah Forsyth, Cookie Baugh and Emily Cooper, who clocked 4:52.86, 5:03.57 and 5:16.62, respectively.
