Benzie Central senior US#1 Hunter Jones of Michigan has been on a natural high this season, winning every single race this season including the granddaddy of all regional championships, the former MW Footlocker title (Champs Sports) in easy fashion- 14:52. Jones led from the cannon passing checkpoint miles: 4:44, 9:34 (4:47), 14:22 (4:47).
Jones will punch his ticket to two national championships (Team Nationals- 12/3 & Champs- 12/10). Along the way, the usually reserved Jones shared some interesting thoughts as he looks ahead to December.
