Impressive track and field performances were demonstrated by the athletes competing at the MHSAA State Championships LP-1 this past weekend at East Kentwood.

Ann Arbor Pioneer's Anne Forsyth took the 3200m race win with her Michigan No. 3 / US No. 7 time of 10:08.07.
East Kentwood's Job Mayhue claimed the 110m hurdles win due to his 13.99 effort.
Waterford Mott's Katie Osika recorded a time of 2:08.88 to secure the 800m win. This result represents a Michigan No. 1 and a US No. 11 for the 2018 outdoor season.
Via Twitter @MileSplitMI - Rockford's Cole Johnson collected a pair of event wins. The University of Michigan signee finished first in the 800m and 1600m races due to his times of 1:53.11 (MI No. 2) and 4:08.47 (MI No. 2 / US No. 11). Johnson discusses his 1600m effort below:
