Carter Solomon continued his outstanding cross country season at last week's KLAA Conference Championship meet. The junior from Plymouth secured the Varsity Division victory with his time of 15:07.03. This result represents a Michigan No. 3 (overall), a Michigan No. 1 for 2020 grads and a new pr.
In addition to taking first place, Solomon guided his squad to the team title. Plymouth posted 30 points to hold off the runner-up team from Brighton, who recorded 56 points.
Solomon has collected seven wins and a pair of second place finishes during his nine starts in 2018. His latest performance has put him in contention for MileSplit's National Performer of the Week honor.
