Landon Athletics hosted their second indoor pole vault meet of the winter at the Vault Barn located in Vermontville, Michigan. Facility owner Jerry Sessions opened the Vault Barn in 2018 and hosts pole vault meets both indoor and outdoors throughout the year as well as camps. Fifty-eight vaulters from 10 years old up to 62 years old competed in two competitions.
Forest Hills Central junior Brooke Bowers won the high school girls competition at 11'6" while her sister Aubree Bowers was second with the same height, but more misses. The junior from Ortonville-Brandon, Allison Shelton was third with a 11'0" jump.
In the boys competition All-State pole vaulter and Jenison junior, Joey Bonacci was the winner with a great early season jump of 14'0". Junior Tryce Tokar from Ovid-Elsie and senior David Dana from Midland Bullock Creek both cleared 13'6" to finish second and third.
