Carter Solomon made his way to Kenosha, WI this past weekend for Foot Locker Midwest with the mind-set of 'survive and advance'. And he did just that. On a day where runners encountered high winds, rain and cool temperatures combined with a course that offered very slick footing, the senior from Plymouth ran a controlled race and comfortably secured his Foot Locker Nationals qualifying berth with a 9th place showing.
The Notre Dame commit and top ranked runner from the Wolverine State rattled off 13 straight victories prior to FLMW, which included a 14:42.70 pr effort at Region Huron and a LP-1 state title.
Solomon, the 4th place finisher at Balboa Park's Morley Field in 2018, appears primed for another big performance in San Diego on December 14th.
