High level cross country action took place at last weekend's A2 Coaching Legends Classic, which was hosted by Brighton.
Girls Gold Division
Yasmine Mansi broke the 18 minute barrier on route to her first place finish. The Northville sophomore went 17:52.90 for a thirteen second victory over the race's runner-up. Mansi's time represents a Michigan No. 8 for the 2018 season. Lauren Kiley was the next athlete to cross the line; the freshman from Plymouth produced an 18:05.60 result. In third place was Pinckney's Noelle Adriaens, who finished in 18:07.80.

Girls Blue Division
A trio of runners broke 19 minutes in the Blue Division race; Walled Lake Western's Maryam Sheena led the way with her 18:35.50 clocking. Pontiac Notre Dame Prep teammates, Alexandra Case and Jennifer Ohlsson finished second and third with their times of 18:40.10 and 18:45.10, respectively.
