In another star studded SPIRE Scholastic Showcase, there was no shortage of elite performances on Sunday in Geneva, Ohio.

Justin Braun was the headline athlete entering the weekend and the junior from Thomas Worthington did not disappoint, producing wins in the 60m and 200m dashes. Braun was scheduled to compete in the 400m, but scratched due to tightness in his calf following the 60m. Despite the tightness, Braun still managed to clock in a new personal best in the 200m running a 21.32, holding off Brandon Miller, who finished just behind, running a 21.47.

Two distance runners managed to steal the show on Sunday, along with Braun. Audrey Dadamio ran to a victory and set a brand new SPIRE Institute facility record in the 1600m, running a 4:40.65. Dadamio, a Stanford University commit, ran a 11 second personal best and is the first girl to go sub 4:42 in the country in the event.

Larry Josh Edwards managed to break Andrew Jordan's five year SPIRE Institute record, running a 8:51.88, en route to winning the 3200m. Edwards negative split, running his final mile in 4:20, which was enough to separate him from the field and win the event.

Natalia Surdej was the third athlete to break a SPIRE Institute facility record at the meet. In the weight throw, Surdej threw 59-03.00 on her last throw to break her own facility record which she set last week at the Ohio Championship Preview meet.

Autumn Wilson and Hali Murphy, two participants who traveled from Austin, Texas to test themselves against some of the Midwest region's best walked away with event wins. Wilson took home a victory in the 60m and 200m dashes, running 7.41 and 24.13 respectively. Murphy clocked a new personal best in the 400m, which carried her to a dominating win in the 400m, running a 54.70.

Zamen Siyoum ran to an impressive victory in the 60m hurdles, running a 7.90, which gives him his second straight triumph following his win at the Ohio Championship Preview on January 30th.

Addy Wiley also had a great day, winning the 800m in 2:11.16 and finishing second in the 1600m, running an impressive personal best of 4:45.77. This adds to Wiley's stellar indoor season, having already run a 10:35.08 in the 3200m, Wiley has cemented herself as one of the most well rounded athletes in the country.
