I. Facility Information
- The Lincoln Athletic Building has a 300m Track with 8 lanes on the straightaway & 6 lanes on the oval.
- Preferred oval lanes - 5-6-4-3-2-1
- Preferred straightaway lanes - 4-5-3-6-2-7-1-8
- Please enter the building at the main concourse entrance ONLY, all other entrances will be locked.
- Restrooms are located in the locker rooms in the main concourse.
- No Food on the turf.
- SPIKES ALLOWED BUT ONLY " INCH PYRAMID SPIKES
- NO TAPE ON TRACK - Chalk will be provided
- LINCOLN ATHLETIC BUILDING AND MOTOR CITY TRACK CLUB ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT OR INJURY.
- Parking:
- Free parking is available in the facility lot and on campus. All overflow parking can park at the school building lot(s).
- All cars illegally parked will be towed at the owner's expense.
II. Athlete Entry Fees & Coach/Spectator Ticket Information
- HS and 13 & 14 Age group athletes can enter 4 individual events and/or any combination of relay event(s) or field event(s). Athletes are limited to 4 total events.
- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11 & 12 Age group athletes can enter 3 individual events and/or any combination of relay event(s) or field event(s). Athletes are limited to 3 total events.
- $25 per athlete
- Cover charge for all registered athletes will be included in their registration fee. All athlete registration will be completed on milesplit.com.
- All additional Coach and Spectator tickets must be purchased at GoFan.co. There will be NO CASH sales for entry tickets at the door.- Registration Deadline: February, 9th, 2023 (7:00 p.m. EST) - $25 per athlete
- The ticket service (gofan.co) will automatically close as soon as the capacity limit is reached.
- Coaches will receive two (2) complimentary Coaches passes per every ten (10) registered athletes.Athlete Facility Check-In
- After entering the main facility, athletes need to report to the registration table for their BIB's & Pins. All events will be clerked on site at the north end of the facility.
Athlete Event Check-In/Clerking
- Clerking will take place near the LJ pit at the north end of the facility.
- Athletes MUST check-in with the clerks a minimum of 30 minutes before their event.
Warm-Up Area
- Warm Ups will be permitted on the turf and unused sections of the track.
Results
- Live Results can be found at milesplit.live throughout the course of the meet.
Awards
- Medals will awarded to the Top 6 places in each individual event
- Medals will awarded to the Top 3 places in each relay event
Implements & Equipment
- All starting blocks will be supplied by meet management and athletes should NOT bring their own to the facility.
- All competition implements will be weighed and inspected before approval. Athletes should report to the northwest corner of the facility and see the official to get competition implements weighed and approved.

Concessions & Sales
- A concession stand will be open during the meet selling refreshments throughout the hours of competition. Custom championship t-shirts will also be available to purchase.

Seeding and Advancements
- Seeding: Seeds will be based on personal bests from the 2022 outdoor season or 2023 indoor season. If there is an issue with your seed, email: Rolando Eccleston BEFORE the entry deadline.
- Advancement: For all running events from 55m through 400m, there will be two rounds of competition. The eight fastest times in the 55m and 55m hurdles, and the 6 fastest times in the 200m shall advance from the first round to the final in all age divisions.
- The top eight competitors in each field event shall advance to the finals of their age division.
Blocks
- Prelims: Only 13-14 and HS will be permitted to use blocks during trials of the 55m, 55m Hurdles & 200m.
- Finals: All age groups will be permitted to use blocks during the finals of the 55m, 55m Hurdles & 200m.
Rules: Conduct and Facility
The following are not permitted at the Lincoln Athletic Building:
- Alcohol
- Smoking
- Glass or metal containers
- Food/Gum on the track or the infield
- No liquids other than water are allowed on the track surface
- Coolers are not permitted in the facility
- Weapons of any kind
Protests
There will be a $100.00 fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee no later than 30 minutes after a result has been posted.
The protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
Pole Vault
- PV will be contested in the HS age division only
- All competitors must provide their own vaulting poles.
- Athletes must have their competition bib and all poles they wish to use verified. Weigh-in and pole inspection will take place at the vault venue one hour before each event.
- All poles will be inspected for manufacturers' pole ratings and the maximum top hand hold position as determined by the manufacturer.
