Senior Kathryn Hague (Chicago, Ill./Mt. Assisi Academy) earned a provisional mark in the women's 5000 meter run at the Grand Valley State Holiday Open on Friday, Dec. 17. She finished seventh with a time of 16:53.88.
Grand Valley State's women's track and field team started the 2010-11 season on Friday evening (Dec. 17), as they hosted the GVSU Holiday Open at the Laker Turf Building. GVSU collected four first place finishes and had five student-athletes automatically qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 5000-meter run. The Lakers will compete in the new year on Jan. 7
