Upperclassmen, Michael and Anthony Hancock led Dearborn Divine Child to a resounding team win at last week's Watermelon Run, which was hosted by Trenton.
In the individual race standings, Michael secured second place due to his Michigan No. 6 time of 15:42.90 and Anthony took third with his time of 16:00.00. This result represents a Michigan No. 15 for the 2018 cross country season. Additionally, both efforts are good for top five in the state's junior class rankings.
The Falcons' scoring was rounded out by Oscar Hernandez (6th place - 16:54.60), Andrew Iaquaniello (25th place - 18:17.90) and Shaun McGrath (31st place - 18:25.10).
Dearborn Divine Child's scorers earned 67 points and averaged a 17:04 finishing time.
