Nick Foster added to his state championship collection by taking the Division 1 win.

Nick Foster successfully completed the repeat in the D1 contest. The Ann Arbor Pioneer senior went 15:13.00 and held off Plymouth's Carter Solomon by five seconds. Foster, who is unbeaten in ten races in 2018, could be looking at a deep postseason run. He finished twelfth at last year's Foot Locker Midwest Regional and then went on enjoy national success during outdoor track.
Ericka VanderLende ran the time of the day on the girls side, as the senior from Rockford cruised in for the victory in 17:08.40. This marked VanderLende's second straight LP-1 title. She won last year in 17:16.80. The University of Michigan commit is currently listed at No. 7 in the MileSplit 50 rankings.
